All patrons with overdue materials will accrue fines for each day the material is late. Patrons with fines or overdue materials will not be allowed to use the library until fines have been paid or materials returned. Fine rates are as follows (unless otherwise stated on the material):

Books, Audio Books & CD's

$ .15
Videos and DVD's $1.00
Other fees include the following:
Replacement card $2.00
Damaged Cases and Covers $2.00
Damaged Cassettes $1.50
Unclean Audio Cassettes $2.00
Barcode Replacement $1.00

Each patron is responsible for materials and fines accrued on their cards. Parents are responsible for all loss and damage to books checked out on a child's card. Any damaged or lost items must be paid for in full in order to use the library.

Reserves
If the item you wish to check out is currently not in the library, someone at the circulation desk will be happy to reserve the item for you. Reserves may be made in person or by telephone. There is no limit on how many items you can reserve, but normal check-out limitations still apply. When the reserved item is available for checkout, the patron on reserve will be contacted and given two days from that time to pick up the material. After the two days, the hold will be removed and the item will be given to the next patron in line. Once a reserve has been cancelled, it will be the responsibility of the patron to request the item a second time.

Renewals
An item can be renewed once in person, online, or by telephone. Renewals may be made only if the item is not placed on reserve by another patron. Books and audios may be renewed for two weeks and movies for two days.

Interlibrary Loan
If we do not currently have what you need, we will be happy to request it for you from another library. This service usually takes one to two weeks. Obscure and out-of-print items will take up to two months, if available at all. Once your material has reached our library, you will be notified by telephone that your item is ready for check out.

We will not order any materials that we have in some form in our collection. For example, we will not be able to order an unabridged version of a CD in place of an abridged or cassette copy.

Due to rising costs, we must charge our patrons for the postage expense of mailing the material back to the lending library. Postage fees will be assessed to the patron's account when the material arrives and must be paid in full before the material can be checked out.

Additional Information
Each patron is responsible for keeping his or her account information up-to-date, including current address and phone number. If we are unable to reach you on a reserve or interlibrary loan request due to incorrect data, your reserve will be lost.
